So as many of you now currently know, I just finished my first week of my last semester at BYU. It was pretty dang cool, and I am currently not overwhelmed by the load that will soon pressed on my shoulders. When I was in Spokane with Meghan, on our last day heading to the airport, Meghan's father and mother were talking about goals and how to attain them. I learned something new in the conversation. Meghan's mother said that one of the men in the Mission Presidency writes down his 6 most important things to do each day down on a small 3X5 card, and then does nothing else until he finishes those things that are on the card. So I decided that I was going to do that so that I kept organized during this last semester. I have done it for a week now and I cannot complain. I am getting everything done that I need to and I do not feel burdened out with the tasks that need to take place. I often wonder how the brethren acco
mplish all that they do, with the responsibility that is placed on their shoulders. So If they can do it so can I!
With all the new tasks that I have each day, I cannot stop thinking about March 16th. I think that is like 60 days away. Meghan is working really well at picking out the things that will be needed for us to have not only a great time, but also help others feel relaxed. I can't stop thinking about how important it is for me to stay organized so that I can be their for Meghan and all the things that she needs help with.
SO WHAT?
So what this is teaching me is that organization is a very KEY part to success. Their will be pitfalls( like my car radiator cracking, while driving in a very hellish snow blizzard of death and having to be replace it) but when we have our priorites in order, and we are relaxed and willing to press forward. WE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!
NOW WHAT?
Now I must continue in the goals that I have set for this year. As a student, employee, and future HUSBAND! I have the chance to change all that is around me and again BE A CREATOR OF CIRCUMSTANCE AND NOT A CREATURE!!
